Choosing A Men's Vitality Supplement

How to choose a men's vitality supplement: eight checks

Eight checks you can run on any bottle in this aisle in about two minutes.

Does it print a panel; does the panel match the advertising; is there a proprietary blend; are the amounts anywhere near the trial doses; does it declare stimulants; is there a lot number; is there a telephone number; and what is the refund window counted from. Applied to JellyFil at the end, scored honestly.

Written to be used on somebody else's product as readily as on this one.

The checklist

The eight checks

Is there a Supplement Facts panel at all?

Astonishingly, not every product in this aisle ships artwork that includes one. A front-of-bottle shot and a list of six names is not a panel. No panel means no amounts, no serving size and no other-ingredients line, and it should be close to disqualifying.

Does the panel match the advertising?

Read both lists and count. A sales page naming fewer ingredients than the bottle is common and it matters: the omitted ones are frequently the stimulants and the ones with interactions. This is the check most buyers never run.

Is it a proprietary blend?

A blend gives one total for several ingredients and hides the split. It is legal — FDA labelling guide is the regulator's own guidance — and extremely common. It also means nobody can tell you how much of anything you are taking. Ordering inside the blend is by descending weight, which is the one clue it does give you.

Are the amounts anywhere near the trial doses?

Maca trials use 1,500–3,000 mg (Gonzales 2002, Andrologia). Ashwagandha trials use 240 mg and up (Lopresti 2019, randomised trial). Arginine trials use grams (Khalaf 2019, Nutrients). Compare and draw your own conclusion — and note that a concentrated extract narrows the gap without closing it.

Does it declare its stimulants?

Caffeine, green tea, guarana. A product that declares a caffeine figure is being straight with you; one that hides caffeine inside a blend is not. This matters practically to anyone who avoids it.

Is there a lot number?

On the bottle, matched by whoever sold it. It does not prove what is inside, but it is what makes a recall, a complaint or a query possible at all. A bottle with no lot is untraceable.

Is there a telephone number a person answers?

Try it before you buy. Two minutes on the phone tells you more about a seller than a page of testimonials, and a desk that cannot be reached before a sale will not be easier to reach after one.

What is the refund window, and counted from when?

Length matters less than the start date. A window counted from purchase is shorter than the same window counted from delivery, and the honest sellers print the shorter reading. Ask, if the page does not say.

CheckResultScore
Is there a panel?Yes. A full printed Supplement Facts panel with serving size, nutrition rows, the blend and an other-ingredients line.Pass
Panel against advertising? No. The panel names 9 ingredients and the advertising names 6. Green tea, caffeine and horny goat weed are on the bottle only.Fail
Proprietary blend?Yes. One blend of 82 mg covering all 9, annotated as approximately 567 mg of dry-powder equivalent.Fail
Near the trial doses? No. Nine ingredients inside 82 mg average around nine milligrams each against trial doses in the hundreds and thousands.Fail
Stimulants declared?Yes on the panel: caffeine at 5 mg on its own line. No in the advertising.Partial
Lot number?Yes. Lot JEL-26/JE-4012 against certificate reference JEL-4012-26-JE, matched by the order desk.Pass
Telephone number?Yes. +1 (507) 448-8190, printed on the label and on every page of this website. Two entries in the review file are about that line: a buyer who called it, and one that reads “Desk answered.”Pass
Refund window?60 days, counted from purchase — the shorter reading, printed rather than hidden.Pass

Four passes, three fails and one partial. That is the honest score and it is published by the desk that sells the product.

What to do with that. The three failures all come from the same place: a proprietary blend, which produces the undisclosed split, the small per-ingredient amounts and the advertising list that does not match. If disclosure is what you care about most, buy a single-ingredient product at the trial dose instead, and this desk would rather say so.

The four passes are about the buying rather than the formula: a real panel, a lot number, a staffed telephone and a window counted honestly. In an aisle where the FDA maintains a public list of products found to contain undeclared prescription drugs (FDA tainted-products database), those four are not a small thing.

The money-back window, written out

Two months, counted from the day you paid

The seller runs a 60-day money-back window and it starts at purchase, not at delivery. Purchase always comes before dispatch, so counting from the payment date gives the shorter and more conservative deadline — that is the one this desk prints and the one to diary. Claims are opened by telephone on +1 (507) 448-8190 with the order ID in front of you; return postage is the buyer’s cost and a tracked service is worth the few dollars. The refund policy sets out what happens next and how long the money takes to land.
